Salutations and Happy 2018! For me, it's been an awesome start for this reason.

I just wanted to show just how amazing KR's Guilty Gear community is. I recently left Korea to obtain a job in Japan for a while, and Kero22/케이1 made this picture of Jam for me. This is the Jam color that I'm known for with the angles to accentuate my love for pantsu & healthy builds (which I'm also known for).

This was given to me out of the blue, and I didn't even notice it in his Twitter originally. He shot me a message through our chat room asking for a critique of a picture he made. It came as a complete suprise and I'm still touched even now. I'm not a great player by any means, and I feel the other three Jams of Korea (AHI, Lxcc2, and Kid0070098) are FAR more deserving for both their skill and tenacity.

This is not the first or last time moments like these happen amongst our community. It's the main reason why I absolutely love this scene. The level of passion they show is unreal, and everyone is incredibly welcoming. They took a scrub like me in, thoroughly pulled a train of matches on me, and helped me level up from shit to bad. They've become a second family to me. It's because of them I will always continue to train harder and try to suck a little less each tournament I go to.

Strong shout outs to the KR anime fgc. I can't wait to meet up with you all at Japan Evo!
