Mmm, no thanks. I don't particularly see why calendar numbers are important to the picture. You can make a case for commentary, but for a calendar?

It's still altering the original intent of the image. I can't flag this because it's still allowed of course. But what I meant was that one still upload the original.

You didn't upload the original either. You uploaded a cropped version that removes some image data because the page edge runs at a slight angle, thereby altering the image. If you wanted to upload the 'original' you should've just rotated the original scan yourself and uploaded it as is.
