    I always get the impression --- maybe from an esteem of the Chinese --- that Linux is more popular in China than India, and that Japan apes America in preferring Windows; it's difficult however to believe any of them still use XP as do older, feebler, users in the West.

    Maybe better than 8/10, dunno; but XP's like driving a 1950s car 70 years on..

    Windows;

    Oh, apparently this is a gijinka of a virtual currency by the name of XP.

    Don't know what to do for the copyright tag here.

    OK, then. Seems a confusing naming. XP already refers to a number of things, and I could well believe it as a new premium petrol, but good luck to the plucky investors.

    On a related note the Met Police in London have just promised to stop using XP Windows in May.

    Makes one proud to be a Briton.

    It's a fair price for some. There are plenty of users who have a lot of grief with Microsoft. If I had to guess, I think Vista is what really started the legend about Microsoft OS updates being the boogeyman, and is the primary reason why some users still cling to old faithful. Over 5 versions later and they were still working on jerry-rigging XP with custom SP4 updates.

    Gosh, I can't even remember what XP looks like anymore. The whole "smart OS" and app thing really transformed computers since then.
