    Well, what else can you really make Mahiro do by herself? So far this series hasn't been shown to be very wordy. And we already got an MMORPG chapter, don't wanna repeat stuff like that.

    Any other serious manga could have extended this chapter by making Mahiro monologue to herself about her lifestyle or how she misses his sister. But now that's going into wordy Light novel territory.

    You could have shown more pages of her enjoying herself being alone (or forcing herself to enjoy herself) before saying she misses Mihari... or spent more time between eating pizza and meeting Mihari again to show her actually lonely and why she's in the blank stare state.

    As it stands, the chapter is basically just "Yay! I enjoy being alone!" -> two seconds later -> "WAAAH! I hate being alone!" It's coasting entirely on the predictability of the setup rather than actually playing it out.
