I think the winning condition of "that game" is not about who has the best well-paid job, but being furthest from being a corporate slave.

A high paying part time job is kinda the dream. You have more free time to persue your own hobbies and probably not as stressed as someone with a "Full time job" who may even be given "forced" overtime. Quotations there since in most places, technically forced overtime is illegal, but bosses and managers can still harass their employees into staying with little consequence.

Or you just end up staying back on your own accord because of how massive the work is. All without being paid a dime for the overtime work.

What happens if the three play the game with each other?

Honestly it's quite possible if you lower exceptions somewhat. I mean in the sense of "why is having a big house/apartment actually important? What is the point of a more expensive car?" Etc, I think most people could work allot less and be allot happier if they didn't somehow equate = 'having expensive things' to 'success'. Having less kids would help too, they're giant drains and we don't need more humans.

I can easily get by on around 30-35 hours a week at a fairly mediocre job while still buildings savings and with weekends always free, and when I leave work I leave work. I do this by only driving 15 year old cars I own outright, living in a low rent studio apartment with no frills, I didn't pile up hundred of thousand in student debt because I went to a community college, and I didn't feel a burning need to reproduce just because that's what everyone is supposed to do in there late 20s.

To me that's worth way more then having more money, but particularly no free time and tons of obligations would ever be. It really is funny to me how 'slackers' are often portrayed as being much happier then 'over achievers', and yet everyone always seems to want to be the latter anyway.

There are some high-paying part-time jobs, but there are often reasons they aren't full-time that make them less attractive long-term.

Some are just "dirty jobs" - working in the sewer, or the like. People don't want to do them, so they pay more.

Some are hazardous jobs that you can only do when young and healthy and are a direct threat to your health long-term, such as certain forms of construction or mining, and they don't offer any insurance, so you're gambling with your health and life.

Others are just ways to skip out on paying for health insurance or job security on a normally better-paying job that requires actual marketable skills, like IT work, but you need to have those skills to start with, and if you have them, probably could have gotten a full-time job to start with...

One of the most expressive Hibiki's I've ever seen. Also, the key to happiness is doing what you want to do in the smartest way possible. Like TK3997 said, you need to evaluate what actually matters to you in life and work off of that. Know when your employers are trying to pull a fast one on you and don't put up with their bullshit. Definitely work hard if you have an actually good full-time job, but if like most of us you have a shitty part-time job, only put in enough work as to not get fired. Most of all, try to work in an industry that interests you and don't ever give up on your dream. Sometimes it all just comes down to dumb luck though...

    And I won the lottery!
    Half-way through the match.
Preposterous... How can I, the only one who managed to have a job, be coming dead last!?
Need to change jobs... But there's no guarantee that the pay will be better!
    The Game's True Colours
Agh! I should resign, but I can't do it!
Taking a turn into the game's name there.
Well, even with part-time jobs, there are ones that can pull in the cash.
