    In reality, I heard it was a motion inspection. They moved it around several times, so I recorded some perfect videos.

    The black area in panel 1 isn't where I censored out something especially dangerous to show, just a composition error in the photo I took.

    I didn't have enough width!

    Ah, the Phalanx. My dad was a Captain (rank, not position) in the US Navy so I got to tour a handful of ships. I also did some research on them for an internship last summer. The gun is pretty much the definition of "brrrrrrrt". He called it the R2D2.

    If you haven't watch a video of one firing, do so. It's great.
