I still don't know why people have taken Okina's random speculation about Larva as being almost certainly true, considering Larva's profile and music commentary are basically telling us she's just an empty-headed fairy. Okina only had Cirno saying that she entered a door on the back of a butterfly fairy, and said it might not have been a coincidence and Larva might not be a fairy at all. Except we know for sure that she IS a fairy. Larva herself in VFiS 8 and Cirno's ending didn't seem to recognize the doors being Okina's, or Okina and her servant in Cirno's report being her supposed "enemies", and didn't know what the deal with the doors sucking people was.
Basically everything points to Larva only symbolically being Okina's "rival", and not knowing anything about Okina.
If I have to stretch it, it could be that Tokoyo God (Eternity) has lost her memories since she turned into a fairy as her mind capacity was also reduced to that of a child and typical forgetful fairies (just like Yuyuko no longer remember who she is because her death was far too long ago), and Okina could be the one responsible for Eternity's current state (judging from actual Tokoyo God legend and Okina's power to control spiritual energy like when she created Aunn). So yeah, even if Eternity shows no indication to know Okina on top of being a mere fairy there are still possibilities, at least by how fandom like to work on the lore.
