Kaban actually pick up the flyers after meeting Serval. There was a scene where Kabann taking the flyer out from a transparent plastic box, much to Serval's surprise because she doesn't know you can open it.

No, I know that. My question is why does Kaban reincarnate with a bag. Some Friends reincarnate with their natural weapons turned into, well, weapons, like Brown Bear, but some don't. Some gains weapon from outright strange sources (Golden Snub-Nosed Monkey) but nothing could explain why Kaban, a Friend-ized human reincarnate with bag on tow. Is it only 'plot device' so she could be named such? Because a hero/ine named 'Boushi' would still fit to Friend universe.

If you think about it, probably because it's a uniquely human thing, and also because it fit with Kaban's overall "exploration" themed design.
