Well I was pretty sure I saw a guts and Griffith friends a few pages back. or rather friends based off of their animals, a black dog and a white falcon so we are probably going to see a lot of original friends in here

Don't forget Kumamon and a Predator Friend cameo in this loony page. Still, I think that was a one-off gag page more than these are meant to be introductions to characters that are maybe recurring minor characters the way that the trio in this page were.

Also, "Hizama" is a total unknown to me. It's almost certain the "Hi" is 火, or "fire", but I have no idea what the "zama" part refers to. She clearly looks like another fire bird, though...

Yeah, tons of OCs in this chapter, almost all of them mythic to boot. And I wager not all of them from Japanese folklore and mythology either.

Sachiel from Evangelion shows up a bit later this chapter in the background, so along with the Predator/Guts/Griffith that means anime-based Friends are obviously going to be a thing.

The Friend seen in profile in the fourth panel, what with the streaked hair, accentuated outside corner of the eye, and, well, being seen in profile, looks very Egyptian. Might be a Bastet Friend?

That's Griffith's Falcon, Gut's beast of Darkness and Zodd on his first apparition in apostle form.
