See, it's because I had expectations of a fair amount of income the next day. :-)
Up to now, when in Taiwan, I'd always stayed at hotels where you paid afterward, but this was pay in advance, so I was a bit flustered. Although, the hotel where I stayed in Taipei after this was pay in advance too, so maybe the trends have changed a bit. Or it might be my imagination!
This 7000 yuan was what remained from my sales at Taiwan Reitaisai, so I just brought it along as-is.
When it comes to paying by card, I'm not scared of fraud and such (though that's scary too), it's more fear of damage to my future self's wallet, so I don't like to use them that much.
I earn points on it, though, so what's good is good. (^^;)
