Unless I've been under a rock for over a decade, I don't think there is any written rule dictating that the gender of one of them has to be the same as the other. An infinite amount of multiverses are certain to have slight-to-major changes with all the universes in them; and I'm certain there's at least one where Morgan is female and Arthur is male (and vice versa).

Only artoria's gender was changed, going by your assumption the entire round table would have be women.
