I was using a Cintiq Companion this time, and that thing can't be opened up with a screwdriver, so I was at a complete loss.
I did the same thing on the way back from a con in Kanazawa after this, so I decided to use USB memory ever since. It's a nuisance that you don't know whether you're sticking in the right position until you plug it all the way in.
I've sent the Cintiq off once for repairs for a different reason, but that time the circuit board may have slipped a bit out of place.
