This is just off. Her hand is only slightly larger than his ear. I doubt she could even reach the floor without bending over.

Some people cannot do so without bending over, this doesn't mean it's off. I can't reach the floor without bending over (While kneeling) either. But the fact that her hand is bigger than his ear doesn't seem off at all.
