    Wouldn't it be better to call her "Princess Boo" rather than "Princess King Boo"? I mean the latter sounds both a mouthful and weird like she's both a Princess and a King?

    Maybe, but the Japanese tag for her is "キングテレサ姫", or "Kingu Teresa-Hime". ("King Boo" is "King Teresa" in Japan.)

    Either the Japanese artist that kicked it off and started the tag didn't realize "Kingu" meant "King", or he just thought the doubling-up of titles was funny.

    Then Queen Teresa would be more appropriate thinking about it, after all while we can keep it as close as possible to the original translation sometimes it just doesn't settle in properly.

    Well, in Japanese,
    王 = Ou = king
    女 = Onna/(jou) = woman
    王女 = Oujou = queen (not to be confused with お嬢 "ojou")
    姫 = Hime = princess
    So there's no connection, even if the "kingu" weren't phonetic English. You're basically just making up your own tag name at that point.

    Danbooru tag naming policy states we should just go with as close a transliteration of the Japanese tags as possible. Bowsette didn't get this treatment ("Koopa-hime") simply because the tag started in English.

    We're also not keeping the "Teresa" name for "Boo", however, so it's even more confusing.

    Wasn't asking for a tag to be made just thought that it was weird calling her/him "Princess King Boo" and if "Princess Boo" would of been a better choice on the grounds that it sounds better and it's not an oxymoron.
