I think the edge faces out, but still kind of ominous. Of course, when you're the size of a puchi and have a knife for a tail, your non-threatening posture options are limited.

Shiki is the even more nonchalant one there as she seems to actually be facing the edge.

I don't think she flew so much as JUMPED. Also, superhero landing. Murder on the knees, but I think a (presumably) oni woman wouldn't give a damn.
