As long as you do not want to use the gun... (The turret can not be turned, if the hull is not absolutely leveled out, firing the gun at 3 or 9 o'clock can result in tilting onto the side, etc.)

That is if you want to use the Gun of KV-2 as a Tank gun.

The true way to use it is to think it as Artillery gun. You level yourself, calculated the angle then sent half a tons of HE right into the enemy face.

Just to say, there were at least 1 instance of a single KV-2 holding back numerous Germans fighting to the last of its tank gun's shells. There should be at least 1 other, but I can't really recall it.
That KV-2 was reported to have shot its gun at many angles to fight the Germans (reported as "turning its turret") as they seek to flank it. And it was standing still on a road surrounded with wet field/swamp land so you can picture how leveled or its capacity of turning on its track was like.
