  • Jeanne d'Arc painted as none other than… Joan of Arc! I know I know, I’m so original  ;)

    The hardest part for this was deciding if she should wear gloves or not. In the end I decided to lean towards the original (gloveless) as I felt it softened the image a little.

    Fun fact: I broke my finger before finishing this. I have an acute avulsion fracture – yes, on my drawing hand. So the finishing touches were done really really awkwardly as I struggled to work despite the splint on my two fingers -____-
