    She was being nice.

If it's anything like a convenience store here, from the counter to 10 feet away from the front is probably only a good 30 foot throw. You would be off balance and scraped up real bad, but nowhere near injured.

She could have easily carried him with strength like that, left, and chucked him off the first bridge she found on her way home.

Two bad there are four panels here because this would definitely qualify as instant loss 2koma.

Hilariously enough, damages still need to be paid. But hey, at least the robber's dealt with!

Jalter's used her dragons in public before, right? The cashier might know what she's capable of. Top right panel's something like:
"Sir, please don't point the gun at her! Point it at me instead! I'm actually in less danger that way!"

I dunno, I've seen examples that involve at least one panel before or the after the 2-panel part. My intepretation is that instant loss 2koma simply denotes any pair of panels where the first has a character demonstrate total confidence in their victory, and the second is in the middle/end of said character being thoroughly and decisively defeated, i.e. an abrupt transition from "I won't lose" to "NOOOO I'M LOSING!".

Windows in movies are actually made of solid sugar to shatter the way they do. Actual windows are deadly to be thrown through.

If they're not made of safety glass, which is unlikely for something like a glass storefront, they'll create deadly shards that lacerate anyone sent flying through it.

If it is safety glass, it takes pretty incredible force to get through them, and would absorb a lot of that force. Like, even hitting a deer at 60 mph doesn't have the deer go all the way through a safety glass windshield to give you an idea of the amount of force it takes to throw a full body through such a window. Realistically, his internal organs should be jelly by now.

The fact that a normal human being can take a sledgehammer to safety glass and it still won't break says something to how horrifying hard that robber-san got sent flying.

I'd call the ambulance, in this case. You can kill a guy by running him headfirst into a large pane of safety glass before the glass actually breaks.

    Fascinating. I never knew that.

I know sharp glass can cut a lot easier than it might appear to, but the guy does seem to be wearing full clothing, including a woolen coat, jeans, hat, glasses, and a face mask. Surely that would give him an advantage against the falling and glass injuries.

At that speed and force, all those shards are hitting harder than full body knife thrusts.

Of course, this is Animeland, which has long demonstrated a clear contempt for obeying the laws of our world when it's plot-inconvenient.

I was about to type the same idea. Did you know no one can summon dragons nor throw someone else 10 meters away? Why are you seriously talking about a common store glass in an action scene then? This is the kind of stuff real people have a funny look at you when you talk before running away.

Now, now, let us be fair here, far too many people actually believe that a human could crash through a common shop window and only receive minor lacerations on only the exposed parts of their body thanks to Hollywood favoring cool action over reality, which blinds them to the much more horrific reality that has been pointed out above. Someone should make a study on how many people discovered the truth about this the hard way... and whether they managed to not only survive but be able to live a relatively normal life afterwards.

I shattered a windshield after being hit by a car while riding my bike. I had a minor cut on the back of my head that required a few stitches and my knee was banged up and swelled for a week. Technically I did not go *through* the windshield, instead rebounding and rolling onto the pavement a ways, but there you go.

Of course, I was a brick of a kid who spent too much time on his swing set with nothing better to do than rock back and forth, while pretending he was flying. Also had just finished the soccer season so I was in peak condition. Not sure how I would have compared to the average person.

    ...

Surprise! Car windshield is double-layered safety glass!

Well there is once realistically illustrated in the fight between jotaro and dio where jotaro punches dio so hard to store that the shattered glass cut dio's legs.
