Considering the director, Yutaka Yamamoto, directed the episode in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya where Haruhi and Nagato played God Knows on stage, which is one of my favourite episodes from the show.

And as for Lucky Star, it is my belief when a Director works on a series, he is the one behind most of the creative process of the show, so when he got fired after episode 4, he had already produced most of the series, seeing as Anime shows are produced months in advance of being aired. The intro dance was all due to him, the ending Kareoke sessions were all due to him and I'm sure much more was all due to his work.

So really, he has always been a good Director, its just Japan are a bunch of shitheads.

Not really I think he got axed due to other reasons, and that explaination of things might explain why the Kareoke bits stopped. But I think he got canned for refusing to A) Put in insane KyoAni Self references and B) Pander to the Konata/Kagami shippers.

I see this episode today, but only in this pic I realize her hair is not pink... Even the number of Karaoke Room is the same from the anime. The ending of this episode is diferent too xD is some type of Supermarket song xD
