There are plenty of girls other than Ai-chan who would love be Volley-bu's girlfriend; she could find happiness with one of them instead of trying to monopolize Ai-chan all the time. She should just go for Ai's Sister; she gets to be with a beautiful girl with similar face & bust size to Ai who would recipocate her feelings while she also gets to be Ai-chan's sister-in-law.

If anime has taught me anything, this is showing the school's sports festival, where people get to choose from the available events. Not everyone does every event, and Volleybu-chan has enough admirers that she probably got pushed into doing the cheerleading event

That is a good interpretation, though I suppose you've never seen a cheerleading event in Asian schools.

The Cheerleading Event is exactly what it says on the tin. It's a one-time day event where the Color Teams gather their members and do a cheerleading routine. It usually lasts anywhere from five minutes to a half hour, depending on the team's routines and the members' endurance. They also get judged and scored, just like the athletic events.

You can see a rendition of them in several school-themed manga, like Hoshino, Me o Subutte ch.58.

In one of Azumanga Daioh's athletic-festival arcs, Chiyo-chan gets tapped as one of the cheerleaders. Being a child prodigy and therefore much smaller than all the other students, she's completely useless at every other athletic event, but she wins the cheerleading event by a landslide.

They've already started doing NTR and moral degeneration doujinshi with Ai-chan as the "star", and a few recent uploads under the getsuyoubi no tawawa tag by other artists involve Ai-chan, Maegami-chan and Kouhai-chan being NTR'd by obviously slimy men simply because they have bigger dicks than the three girls' canon love interests.

Asahina Hikage, under the pen name Akapenguin, has done 3 books of Ai-chan and Kouhai-chan a piece over the past couple of years dating back to C92. Raijinkai (nee Haruki Genia) did one of Ai-chan's Mother at C95.

Ah, I remember reading the first Kouhai-chan one where her kindness is exploited by a skeevy guy to get her to have sex with a shota who is implied to be unaware of that the aforementioned scumbag was recording everything (he was only there due to peer pressure from the rest of his class having already had sex, probably in a similar scheme by the same perp). It would've been rather wholesome for an oneeshota doujinshi (after all, canonically she's not dating her Senpai, and neither one seems to be actively trying to advance the relationship, unlike Ai-chan's Sarari-oniisan and Maegami's Sensei-turned-husband) had the scumbag been edited out and the final page didn't exist.

Haven't read the rest, though, so if the Ai-chan ones do involve her cheating on her lover for no good reason... yeah, I can understand why you'd call it crap.

As for the Haruki Genia one... A quick look at the final page shows me that she has no actual intention of stealing Sarari-oniisan from her own daughter, given that she tells him to take care of Ai-chan. The wholesomeness is definitely tarnished by how they're keeping the affair a secret from Ai-chan, though.
