Honestly, I'd say Jeanne is actually comparatively low-maintenance for a five-star. Most of what makes Jeanne useful is her class and her upgraded Noble Phantasm; the only thing you'd want to level for her skills is her stun, and even that's situational.

Jeanne is actually quite reachable as she's a permanent part of the gacha pool. Bunyan is ironically harder to get since she's event exclusive. Bunyan also requires Grail investment if you want her to do well outside of dailies, Jeanne is quite good out of the box despite the stun on NP. For skills, Jeanne is okay at low levels since her skills are situational, Bunyan needs all the help she can get so it's practically required to get her to at least 9/9/9.

One of Bunyan's utility is, in fact, how easy she dies to anything as a Berserker. You'll see here and there people slapping a Taunt CE on her so she buffs and dies; and by dying with a Taunt CE, you can block off damage from your important units - maybe even use as a shield against a single-target NP. As for leveling skills to be useful... Well, most of the low stars do need it.

But most importantly, I believe the first post is meant as a simple joke.
