Hopefully not. This nation has been able to get through a lot of adversity in the past and come out stronger through all of it. I remain optimistic about its future no matter what it's going through or may conceivably go through in the near future.

I wish people would stop acting like COVID is the Spanish Flu or even worse, the Black Death. Is the coronavirus bad? Yes, but we have modern medicine and a deep understanding of viral transmission. People just need to calm down and follow a few rather simple procedures.

And yeah, I don’t know how long it will take, but the combination of Hong Kong and COVID has shown cracks in the CCP. A few people in China are starting to quietly murmur questions. And that’s a terrifying prospect to the Party.

I think the artist refers to USA's way of living rather that the whole country being destroyed.

I rather look forward to not having to deal with faceless unaccountable foreigners for manufactured goods. Hopefully our country men can learn to live with one another again.

Sadly people following a few rather simple procedures isn't a simple procedure, especially when there are people who make their money misinforming people. Not to forget the people who spread misinformation to sow chaos in places they obtain some gain from by weakening or they just don't like the people who live there, and the people who spread misinformation just simply because they want to watch the world burn.

Edit: Case in point some medical personnel in Mexico are now making sure they wear plain clothes in public because there have been a string of assaults on them, so far things like bleach thrown on them or in at least one case being punched in the face, cause conspiracy theories that the coronavirus is being deliberately spread by the medical personnel.

Yeah, It's a shitty situation right now. A lot of nurses and medical personnel are being discriminated by taxi drivers and people is throwing shit at them. Hope this epidemic help a lot of countries to realize how shitty and ignorant their societies can be.
