    didn't know they use lee enfield, i thought they only use the dutch mannlicher during that period.

    In WWII they used the mannlicher (with no re-supply due to German occupation of the Netherlands) . After the war though they primarily used British equipment (just about every photo I've seen during the revolution shows them using British gear). Haven't studied it enough to give a clear reason, but my guess would be the loss of domestic production during the German occupation and a surplus of readily available British equipment immediately following the war.
