I just wonder which character does LIVE (aside of Reimu of course) in the shrine and which other just come to hang out in there exactly..?

Well, Clownpiece does have her fairy domain right under Reimu's shrine, and Aunn is one of the shrine's komainu statues. The rest seem to come and go.
