I think she's either saying "What are you doing?" or "What is that?"

Answer 1 seems to be something to do with "For the time being could you lower [something]?" Her voice? Her trousers?

Answer 2 has "watashi" or "I" in Japanese speech marks for some reason.

Answer 3 is simply "Mara!", the giant penis deity.

Unfortunately the only kanji there that I know are "I" and "below/lower".

Thanks so much, again, to whomever is doing these translations. They're great. But it's surprising to see the author taking the sweeter/non-joke/non-perverted choices. (And I approve. But I'd go with the 1st option and give a foot massage first)

Why does she have to call herself "watashi"?

Freaking jerk. If a woman wants to use "boku", just let her, dammit. It's charming.

I may be wrong, but, to me, it seems Japan (the vast majority, in any case, with obvious notable exceptions) really loves their submissive, ultra-feminine women. Maybe to them, a headstrong, determined, and self-reliant girl like Naoto "needs" to be made to act feminine, and the transformation is what makes her cute/appealing/popular. Maybe.

This is just speculation, mind you. Personally, I like her being strong, determined, and dependable. I hate the notion of a girl whose only dream is to be a "good wife," to cook, clean, and be a brood mare. I don't mind the occasional slip, where Naoto displays SOME feminine traits (when she slips and talks in a high pitched voice, her embarrassment at her [presumably] stunning measurements, seeing her once in a skirt), in fact, they can add to the cuteness, but they should be rare quirks, not her defining traits.

Sorry for the tl;dr but damn, it riles me up.

    You have my support, dude!
I rather call it uniqueness. Talk about rarity among girls...

For the time being could you take your socks off?
I'd be happy if you called yourself "watashi". 'Watashi' would be an appropriate female pronoun.
    Mara!
Sorry... Boku (I) don't know what to do in this kind of situation... 'Boku' as a personal pronoun has a childish and male connotation.
