MEMORANDUM FOR THE COMMANDERS OF THE PORTS

SUBJECT: Use of excess wisdom cube-born entities (WCBE) for subsistence and enhancement

Research conducted by Dr. ██████ at Site ██ has revealed to us that if a WCBE consumes the flesh of another WCBE, they can, as described by the doctor, “absorb their strength.”

This results in a noticeable increase in not only the strength of the subject, but also their speed and dexterity. As of writing, there has been no reported physical side-effects.

As a result of this new knowledge, all port commanders are, effective immediately, to begin incorporating wisdom cube-born entities into the diets of their respective units.

This program will improve the combat readiness of our forces in two ways: (1) Improving the fighting strength of individual WCBEs; (2) Providing another source of nourishment to mitigate the effects of rationing and food shortages.

We recommended that duplicate WCBEs are set aside for consumption to avoid undermining your fighting force.

ADDENDUM 2: It has come to our attention that many port commanders are raising concerns about this new program. It has been claimed that this program is inhumane and morally objectionable. We would like to reassure these commanders by offering this reminder:
