Why does Battleship Princess is too strong (and wore glasses)?! She destroyed each every battleships without single trace and who's gonna try to stop her?

As I said last page, this is where I call BS. Yeah, it’s a Battleship Water Demon Kai, but she’s already somewhat damaged based on the state of her dress. And yet here she is slapping around and heavily damaging all the foreign ships. Also, how do Nagato and Yamato, two of the girls who don’t have any rigging on whatsoever, get away with what I’m guessing is Medium and Light damage, respectively. Literally every foreign shipgirl she’s so much as glanced at has gotten pounded with heavy damage.
Maybe I’m overthinking this, but it feels like we’ve firmly crossed the “this villain is literally too powerful to stop” line.

...And here I am hoping we can see Leeroy Johnston get to work in the next comic.
I want to see her, Gambier Bay, and Sammy B use their special combo attack “TAFFY III TRIPLE TAKEDOWN.”

Being broken/damaged actually increases her stats compared to her normal state.
About damn time the Abyssals got smart and started killing Admirals instead of inconveniencing them. Re came the closest.
Eh, I’d say killing this particular Vice Admiral inconveniences themselves. If she kept him alive, and if she managed to kill everyone else at the base, then he could continue working as an inside man once he “was miraculously the sole survivor of the attack on Ido’s base.”

Yamato getting off with the least damage makes sense, since she has the highest Armor stat in the game.
Of course, Dakota has the second-highest armor, so I don't see how she got hurt worse than Nagato.
And I second hoping we get some action for the Tin Can Girls.

Judging by the speed lines and all the effects on those panels? It's the difference between a direct hit and splash damage. Looks like Nagato and Yamato weren't even attacked directly and still got Medium/Light damage (respectively) just from the wake.
Welp, that took a dark turn real fast, Vice-Admiral and his clique epically miscalculated: they were in this war to play, but the Abyssals are here to win.

Battleship Water Oni it is.

I think the implication is that this isn't a regular Abyssal: Battleship Water Oni says to Vice-Admiral that he's not needed anymore just before killing him, so for me that means that the Abyssals used the Vice-Admiral and his clique to develop this new Abyssal-Shipgirl hybrid technology, and that this Black Kirishima turned Battleship Water Oni is the result of that project, a new generation of Abyssals stronger than everything they've faced before. It was already foreshadowed during the Kobe base incident, where Haruna with the hybrid equipment was insanely strong, to the point that only Kaga retrofitted as a battleship and with the same hybrid gear could stand up to her. Now the Abyssal have gotten what they needed to turn the tide of the war, and they only need to clean up the traitors so the secret of that new technology don't end in human hands.

I think it's simply that Nagato and Yamato had the time to raise up their arms to mitigate some of the damage, while Iowa and SoDak were taken by surprise and took the full force of Battleship Water Oni's shots.

The point is that Nelson, Colorado, South Dakota, and likely Iowa all have their rigging equipped, which has been shown to grant them full shipgirl strength, endurance, and resilience. Nagato and Yamato don’t have rigging equipped, and as demonstrated in the Shipwrecked Gamby arc, should only be a little stronger and tougher than a normal human. During the aforementioned arc Nelson herself explicitly stated that without her rigging, she was only a little tougher than a human lady.
If those attacks are capable of instantly taiha-ing rigging equipped shipgirls, what would they do to a human who is only slightly above the baseline.
(Congrats to Ido though. He’s reached a major milestone in any creators career. He’s got nerds arguing about the consistency of his lore online. Although this probably isn’t the first time it’s happened.)

Again, just from the way the panels seem to be drawn out, the only reason Nagato and Yamato got by without major damage is that they were the only ones not given direct hits. The panel where they got hit seems like they're just being buffeted by the shockwave from the hit Colo and Nelson took, and they got yeeted away for whatever reason rather than shot directly.

I could be wrong, but don't the BB ship girls still have their super strength and endurance even outside of their rigging? I mean The Zuiun festival arch showed that even in just a Happi coat Yamato was able to send other battle ships flying with a flick on the forehead?

In that bit, Yamato actually had a bit of her rigging on. In panel 2 you can see her funnel, which implies she has the rigging’s engines on. That would grant her the strength aspect of a shipgirl.
