I really hope Johnston and Sammy B. eventually get Kai Ni’s/Mk.2, and that the stats reflect the actions.
Sidenote: I’ve been wondering, would samurai-esque Mk.2 CG’s be fitting for the Taffy 3 escort group? Reason being that their actions off Samar seem to be pretty inline with Bushidō. (Or at least my layman’s understanding of it.)

Is it really focusing so much as writing what you know? I imagine a lot of people, likely unintentionally, is going to reference their own nation's viewpoints and matchups as a base unless they were not personally involved in the matter.

I mean... let's be honest, how many people here knew of Yuudachi's or Ayanami's exploits before the game told us about them.

I've had one idea on that topic: I heard one claim that, during the Battle off Samar, Johnston and Sammy B were misidentified as a Northampton- and Fletcher-class respectively. Maybe their second remodels could have them dressed as those classes instead of their typical outfits.

Which is why I think it will be a very, very, VERY long time before Enterprise joins this game.

yeah i agree, ffs the portrayal of johnston is way off in reality she solo'ed the remaining of IJN fleet, and made them think that johnston is a cruiser

OTOH, Yuudachi pre-kai ni looks nothing like the crazy motherf'ker who charged right through the American battle line, got into a point-blank gunnery duel with an Atlanta-class cruiser (which is only slightly less suicidal in RL as in WoWS), crippled it with a full torpedo salvo, and continued to constantly buzz through the American forces despite taking a serious beating from the aforementioned gunnery duel.
Wait for Johnny's Mk II remodel is what I'm saying here.
