Somehow, if the Clone Wars had ended without Order 66 (Or the Jedi catching up to Palpatine earlier), or Obi-wan and Anakin decided to leave the Jedi Order following the events of Season Five, I could see this happening in the years after the war (with no Empire, since Palpatine really needs Darth Vader to seal his victory).
