Again why are people here condemning him like he knew about this stuff like we do?
Last I checked his not one of us who has meta knowledge in that we can literally observe his Life/Universe and see things from an outside perspective.
And his an Otaku and those as stereotyped in this story tend to be a bit of a social outcast.
Not so much in the same way it gets butchered in most form of media more like he can't really get people or notice most social clues that even non Otakus will get due to the whole spending most of their time doing geeky stuff.
Due to said lack of social capabilities when he developed his crush his mind is now just laser focused on her for now and won't really notice anything else.
We can probably expect him to start developing his social skills and awareness once he notices the change with Osanai compared to the last couple of days.
He probably still won't get it immediately because that would just be bullshit type of miracle so we can probably expect it later on instead.
Or once Hime starts dumping some rude but needed wake up calls and nuggets of wisdom for him.
So God damned chill it people there's still plenty of time for character development of mending and nurturing his relationship with all of the girls until we finally get to the finale.
I personally do not think anything is over between Osanai and Otaku, yet. Otaku is dense (as a brick) and currently has a puppy-love (Crush) on Kinjyou - a girl who he hasn't learned anything deeply about beyond the sheer basics. He (himself) is not in love with anyone yet, which is why he's still able to end up with any of the girls in the series.
I think this will be a good move to help flesh out Otaku's future. To help him figure out what he really wants and if he really wants to pursue a relationship with Kinjyou. Osanai obviously still has feelings for Otaku, but she's currently backing down (for now) since Otaku currently has his eyes on Kinjyou/he thinks she's the most attractive girl around him. Osanai is most likely waiting to see how things turns out and to see if Otaku will have a change of heart at some point and will look her way.
I still hope Osanai comes out on top in the end though.
So much hate to Otaku when he is clearly into Kinjyou and looks to Osanai as a friend. I like Osanai and want to see her happy as much as the next guy but I can't blame Otaku for something he is oblivious of
While I think it can be realistic and probable for a high-schooler to not understand what is the better relationship to pursue, I think as far as this goes, I'd like to have a little bit more character or something for the MC. My memory isn't the best, but I don't recall him having any other traits other than "he likes a gyaru."

Well I can't wait to see if he both loses them at the end lol
