Circumcision is about as necessary and wise as cutting off a hand. Ergo, not wise, not necessary and frankly about as modern thinking as a Model T Ford

Actually there are case where it is necessary, where the skin does not grow as quickly as the penis that causes tearing and severe pain, cleaning issues also arise. Also because of the tearing there is chance of infection.

So medically there are times it is in fact necessary

yes at times this is true... but that isnt as common as the pointless mutilation form of circumcision...

If your God wanted foreskins as sacrifices he'd have removed it from your developmental sequence. The fact that he didn't and forces men to force it on babies demonstrates that he doesn't actually want hem.

My parents had me circumcised just after birth purely out of concern for hygiene; neither of them is religious at all. While foreskins kinda creep me out (maybe they wouldn't if I had ever had one), I do think I "feel" less because of it.

I remember watching an episode of "Penn & Teller: Bullshit" way back (around maybe 7-10 years ago) and what they found out was something along the lines that there is a bunch of nerves and whatnot in the foreskin that when removed results in less pleasure from sex (though I don't know how they exactly came to that conclusion, couldn't find a free version of the source either so I can't double check -__- (season 3, episode 1, if you want to look it up yourself, though it may be outdated by now since it was made in 2005)). So it may very well be that you do feel less because you are circumcised, but it's probably not a big difference. No reason to worry about it if it doesn't take you 10 hours to "get off".

Also, circumcising out of hygiene concerns? Sounds like fairly poor judgement from your parents, or some terrible consultation by the doctor (Probably the latter, because money. How the hell would men have managed their genitalia in the stone age if they had to have chopped off the tip of it to not get all kinds of bad shit in there?).

On the contrary, the foreskin is an extremely nerve-rich erogenous zone. The difference in sensation is quite extreme. Testament to this are the reports of those circumcised as adults after growing up intact. There are ~20,000 nerves in the foreskin.
