For those wondering; a new Melty Blood game is on its way called "Melty Blood Type Lumina". New game, as in not another semi-expansion of the original. Character designs appear to use the remake's designs.
The usual Type-moon strategy then. God forbid there be just a single coherent timeline. At least they’re finally rebooting the older games that never made it out of the homelands. Better than nothing, I guess.
