Huh, looks like something out of a Tarantino movie.

Oh yeah, the swordgun's firing sounds slightly different from a usual BLAM. Could be some kind of non-lethal (well, less-lethal) weapon, or something energy-related.

So he's a rogue who walks around pretending to be a street samurai, but his "sword" is a actually a rifle that shoots toxic darts. That would be a really fun character story for a Dungeons and Dragons game.

If this is a universe where natural superhumans and nano-augments exist, it's probably not out of the question that actual cyber ninja clans might also exist who specialize in monster slaying and would be a credible thing to fear. I wonder if we'll see a real legendary swordsman character show up later, or if this is just an isolated thing.

Why D&D when there are better games out there?
Tokyo Nova would be a perfect fit for this setting, honestly.

Well, there's that one other Ishiyumi series with mecha-ninjas...

Granted, it's a different setting and time period. Though I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out it's in a past version of the MBU. At this rate even the Elf Droid series will wind up related somehow. (post-post-apocalyptic setting in the even more distant future?)

Not quite the same as the usual gunshot SFX. Has a more 'metallic' ring.
