I know, I'm basically asking why the series is tagged with a scrapped title. A while back the actual title was a tag here but it was removed, I was wondering if there was a reason.

Probably because the tag that is currently being used was created first, when the working Japanese title was Oboro Muramasa Youtouden. They changed it shortly before launch. But fanart for this game goes back like 2 years.
Should the tag be changed to Oboro_muramasa? Or at least have that tag lead to this one? I am willing to do the first thing myself, but am unsure how to get interchangeable tags to work.
