You can’t upload your own art on danbooru, just so you know.

But you should know that danbooru had a specific guideline on posting art.

This is basically the same as your friend uploading it himself. Read the rules and don't do this again. Danbooru is not the place to post personal art (whether your own or your friend's).

I'm not going to pretend this is a great piece of art or that it deserves to be on Danbooru but why on earth are you all dogpiling this guy?

He is not breaking any rules. And even if you do consider it to be self uploading that is technically not against the rules either just held to a much higher standard than a normal post would be.

"Posting one's own art is discouraged, because artists tend to be biased when it comes to judging the quality of their own work. What looks good to you may be regarded not quite up to the standards of Danbooru by others."

Look just let it ride out the three-day moderation queue. And if it does somehow get approved you can always flag it.

There is no reason the jump down this poor guy's throat.
