Maybe after using a altered sleeping stance for a prolonged time (mainly in order to protect SDM), seems that her body experiences difficult to interchange positions... to by-pass the situation, it would recquire a extended rehabilitation process.

I remember for a few years in my early teens I preferred sleeping on the floor to a bed. No idea why, but I'd just yank the blanket and a pillow off and sleep on the floor.
