It always differs from various myths. So no one is correct and anyone is right. Also Ina's profile is always stated as "priestess" of some ancient one, so that artist didn't research properly.

Reality itself should be older than Creation, at least for a little bit earlier, if not at same age of Existence. If Creation is the one that fills the universe with objects, then Reality was the thing containing all of the created things; and even if we are considering the multiverse theory, there should be the one prime origin reality where anything starts.

I'm assuming this is like a Cthulhu or Nyarlathotep kind of situation where they are priests to other entities but are themselves also worshiped and hence also deities in their own right.

The problem is. There will never be no actual prime origin especially in the concept for multiple vtuber groups like nijisanji or hololive(or else it will just nuke people's brains in trying to understand it)

Pretty much the avatar thing concept I guess. But then again, I do remember that as long that priests bow to their patron god and keep their head low, they'll be fine.

It's not. Ina is very specifically noted to be a human that found an eldritch book that then pumped her full of Priestess goo and strapped some tentacles to her.

tl;dr version- Ina and Sana effectively work for the same Entity (the Ancient Ones). Ina is a recently "recruited" priestess, and Sana is an apostle since... forever.
