Jyoshi kousei - Highschool girl

JK = ジェイケイ = joshi kousei = high school girl
JS = joshi shougakusei = elementary school girl
JC = joshi chuugakusei = middle school girl
JD = joshi daigakusei = college girl
OL = オーエル = Office Lady

JK or 女子高生 (joshi kōsei) basically means female high school student in japanese, from my understanding, it can mean several things depending on the context, in Japan they use it to refer to girls from highschool (duh) or girls from highschool who can give you certain services if you pay, in anime and manga media is the same but is more of a character archetype, also, JK has become somewhat of a trending, like, a toned down version of gyarus.
