    I can't remember anything,

Deep down inside I feel to scream,

We can train her to read morse code on her nipples. Her arms twitching can be the output device. She'll be a perfect turing machine.

Only two options either pull the plug and end her suffering or send her to OSI the agency that rebuilt Steve Austin.
Though I think this is going to cost more then six million USD to fix.
Steve Austin only needed one eye, an arm and two legs.

Yeah, it's like...darkness. Imprisoning her. All that she sees. Absolute horror. She cannot live. She cannot die. Trapped in herself. Body her holding cell!

Landmine has taken her sight. Taken her speech. Taken her hearing. Taken her arms. Taken her legs. Taken her soul. Left her with life in hell!

Yes, I know I was beaten.

    No, I do not care.

Spaz: A few people already mention it, if you didn't recognize the lyric.

Also, if you didn't know, Metallica wrote One based on the novel "Johnny Got His Gun". And yeah, when I saw this, it also remind me of both.

You know, the one good thing about this is that she is going to be the first in line when those guys up in R&D come up with cyborg technology.

There's something to be said about being the first cyborg. Kusanagi Mokoto anyone?

I dunno, if it was me I'd rather wait a while for the technology to get some development. Prototypes are only any good in Gundam shows, they're buggy and unreliable in real life. And as awesome as it would be to be the first cyborg, I'd much rather be the first working cyborg.

But then again if that was me, I'd be stuck in a bed with no limbs and I'd probably take the first option that came to me. They'll just have to install the jet boots and laser cannons later.

Hey I'm trying to get FDA approval for the implantable compact fission reactor but the anti nuke people are being cry babies about it.
I guess I could just put 50lbs of LiPo cells in her.

That's why female androids and cyborgs are usually very busty you gotta put them power cells somewhere.

Legs can be rebuilt through prosthetics. No issue there.

    Arms...

Arms may have to say that way unfortunately.

Eyes, have in fact, been reconstructed before, and it has actually worked really well (just looks a bit ugly).

Teeth can be reformed pretty much completely. Scientists are just working out the rest of the technical issues and trying to make it cheaper to do.

Ears are probably going to be an issue. I can't tell whether or not they're intact or completely destroyed. If they're still intact than cochlea implants will do the job just fine.

Medical technology is a wonderful thing. Its images like these that make me want to become a biomedical engineer so I can FIX people like this. Maybe even make them better.

Arms & legs transplant are possible. Not those prosthetics junks. REAL arms & legs. It's still new, but it'll improve overtime.

Teeth & Tongue: No problem there. The first successful tongue transplant was about 7 years ago

Eye: If it's corneal, no problem at all. If's it's the whole eye, that's gonna wait for a while. That subject is still under study. A successful transplant only restores a portion of the full sight.

God gave humans a brain. It's good to see that we're using it very well on this area.

What freaks me out about situations like this is how old she is. This girl lived a fair amount of a normal life with (most likely) all of her faculties. She probably knows exactly what full movement and senses are like, she likely remembers seeing and hearing perfectly, but no more. There is a significant difference between being born blind and having an accident that makes you lose your sight. One that has never heard cannot fathom music like we do, but ask someone that lost their hearing about a song they listened to long ago, and they might cry at the memory. This woman has lost it all, and can do literally nothing but wait....and think.....and dream. You can't miss what you've never had, but she had it all....and THEN she hit rock bottom, and very recently, judging by the card and flowers. None of us who see this, right here, right now, could possibly imagine what she is going through, not in a million years. THAT is what hits me the hardest. I apologize for taking soul-crushingly depressing to another level altogether, but I felt that this needed to be said, for some reason.
