    I was in a tight spot today. By the time I got my work done, there was very little time left, but luckily I was able to find a rough sketch I did two years ago. I'm so lucky. Please forgive me for going two minutes past noon on this latest upload.

    The names are usually decided by Himura himself, or adopted by him from the Japanese fanbase, and are always Japanese words (or English loanwords used frequently; like Volley Bu-chan). Scanning the Japanese replies to her next few appearances will probably yield her name.

    Just because one of the characters in the depicted comic's pages superficially resembles Ai-chan doesn't mean that we should use Ai-chan's tag for her.

    The "this week's theme" commentary from him says "mangaka", so I'm betting she's being called "Mangaka-chan".
