yeah,as much as I also wanted a Yuri route this probably won't happen,not in the actual game.. buuu...t if they only put a minor change in Mitsuru/Yukari/Fuuka 's route,I can predict there will be a loot of fanart of FemaleMC with her female "harem" once the game come out..oh, I know I would draw one thats for sure.

Aegis' storyline (the one from FES specifically) I don't see as needing any changes. Originally, she "loved" the MC because she wanted to be near him/her because Death was sealed inside of him/her. But let's be honest, Aegis isn't even female. She's an android. She has no gender, and as such their love is just fine.
You know, it'd be funny if they gave the option to "date" just one of the girls, probably Mitsuru, implying that she is bisexual. But I doubt it. I just wonder how they'll handle the social links with the guys in your team. Will you date them? That'll take quite a rewrite, unless they plan on adding a whole ton of new links.
Even the small things... like originally meeting Aegis during Junpei's "babe hunt." Can't exactly work the same this time. I'm intrigued.
Yeah, the more I think about it, there are a ton of scenes that wouldn't make much sense if left unchanged. I don't envy the team who has to deal with them all... And it makes me wonder if they could fit all that on one PSP UMD

Considering how Aigis' human-like body was made so that she'd have a more developed human self-image, and thus be better able to use a Persona, I think "no gender" doesn't really apply here. Technically, maybe, but she was built with a female body for a reason, and she's clearly meant to be, and think of herself as, female.

Um.. no. It's a matter of adding a number of alternate dialogue files and scripts. It's not like there's new models to make or anything. We're talking text. Maybe a few megabytes at most, even that small of an amount would be a small novel worth of text.

The more I think about it, I'm beginning to realize that P3P is an experiment to transfer the series from the PS2 as the latter is about to fade from existence.
The problem I think they're seeing is the social links. Each is associated with a specific arcana. How, unless you can date, or at least befriend, all of the same girls will you get The Priestess, the Empress, the Lovers, the Justice, and the Strength? If they swap the datable characters for Junpei, Akihiko, Ken, and Shinji, The Magician, The Emperor, The Chariot, and the Fortune, that leads to duplicates (Junpei is the Magician, Akihiko is the Emperor, Shinji is the Hierophant)
Of course, there are additional problems with dating some of those: Junpei- Has Chidori Ken- Too young Shinji- He's dead, Jim
They could genderswap a few of the characters, or swap arcana, but there's unlikely to be a way to do it without pissing off some fraction of the fanbase ("They changed it, now it sucks!" or "It's the same, now it sucks!")
chances are, if anything you'll just become close friends with the intended arcana instead of taking the relationship to the next level. Beside most of Persona 3 and 4 Social Link building was more helping people with there internal issues than anything of the romantic nature.

That didn't stop Minato from hanging out with Maiko. What I hope they will fix is how the Social Links effect the entire plot and gameplay itself. It was rather odd to see a Yukari get mad at you and when you go back to the dorm, she talks to you casually like nothing happened.
Well I doubt Mitsuru S.Link will end up lovey dovey or even exist since there Junpei Ken and Akihiko in the group to fall back on. The normal S.Links can remain the same since gender wont change a thing, except Kenji since he's a perv trying to make it with a teacher. As for relationships they can change over to gal pal type of things or some switch to a guy.
Fuuka (Priestess) I don't know... can't turn a guy into a priestess. Mitsuru (Empress) Eh She needs a friend or above picture Yukari (Lover) Junpei? pfft I couldn't think that without laughing, let Yukari be a Gal pal or have a yuri S.Link Chihiro (Justice) Ken He wanted to get justice ok Shinji for his moms death, not to mention he is part of the story to save people from the fall. Simple: Junpei: can make it to where he doesn't end up with Chidori, like this "I liked her, but now I like you!" thing. Ken: there are some people that happen to LIKE shotas, so either have him be a shota character (so now the female MC is a pedobear) or have him be one of those characters that look up to you since you're older (however Ken's more mature than other kids, so I'm leaning on the Shota-con thing) Shinji: max him out before he dies. like Nanako.
If they're going to do this, they BETTER add on the Yuri S.links...otherwise the game's not going to be that promoted.
Female gamers are a minority, and I doubt there'll be a lot of guys out there who, after having beaten the original game, would consider buying this one only to spend the whole game trying to hook up with other guys.
If they DO add the Yuri S.Links, then I'll be first in the line to get this.
Actually, true to femMC's implied sexuality, there aren't any yuri S-Links. (My friends played through the game, moon-speak and all, and got both endings.)
Very sad to hear. It would've given the game, though the aspect is a little shallow, another bargaining chip for buyers.
