Artist's commentary
I found a note that goes something like "Finally, Laura has grown legs!", but that feels so uncomfortable... In a mermaid's case, the lower half of a fish's body transforms into the lower half of a human, not like a tadpole that grows legs (feet) and becomes a frog, like the one in this picture! (it's not worth it)
