And this has been wiped off twitter by the artist due to harassment over "suggestive artwork of a literal child". I understand loli art is not everyone's cup of tea but I have always been of the mindset of if you don't like something don't look at it or go someplace else.

I am very tired of this childish mentality of "I don't like it, you're a bad person for making/liking this, I hate you!" over drawings of fictional characters.

I mean, no kid will ever wear that kind of black bikini, so it's meant to be suggestive...
But the artist's fault was uploading it to twitter, which got twittards as inhabitants. If they uploaded it to pawoo or pixiv, nobody gonna bat an eye.

That's the point of making a drawing of fictional character.

What annoys me is it's somehow acceptable to attack a drawing of a fictional little girl being "too suggestive", but it's perfectly fine to have kids being chopped up and killed in movies.
Why aren't these people attacking whoever made Alien 3 for killing Newt? Or whoever made Alien versus Predator Requiem for killing the kid in that scene in the woods? Why are they always attacking little people on the internet? It's almost as if they attack people who can't defend, or people who offend them personally, rather than really sticking to a message.

Yeah, and that's what people are misunderstanding (and thus downvoting) my comment for.
The point was people are gonna hate, but for their own reason. Putting this kind of art on twitter is just flame bait, especially with how woke the members right now. It is FAR weirder that twitter doesn't hate that twerking kids movie as bad as some loli art, despite the former actually has legal issues.

Another thing that is bothering me over this is the artist making posts on twitter apologizing to the hate mob saying they were at fault and will do better in future. No. Just no. If the Kuri wants to draw a slightly risqué or even outright R18 piece of loli art they should be free to draw whatever they want without having to explain or get permission from the twitter mob or anyone else.

This is a very nice Klee art which I would have loved to have seen more of by Kuri and some of the other Genshin girls too. There was clearly a lot of time and effort put into this piece all to be torn up and thrown back into Kuri's face.

twitter is always being a major infestation for sfw and political junk, but honestly JP artist shouldn't apologize to those people. It is like letting bullies bullying on people.

Did people forget that Pawoo exists for a reason or did Pixiv and Twitter somehow revert their ban on loli?

Kuri isn't Japanese but what you said still applies to all artists. No one has the right to harass and bully any artist just because they don't like a piece of art. I don't like most yaoi art but you don't see me lurking in the yaoi tag bitching about the art people post or crying at the artists on Pixiv. If you don't like it don't go looking for it just to complain about it.

I suppose a problem Kuri has is that she has done mostly cutesy and safe stuff for a long time and her suddenly doing a risqué work of a loli character no less was probably big shock to her followers. Still doesn't give them the right to attack her over it. Maybe she is being overly apologetic out of fear of losing all the followers she has built up over the years.

Also, I don't play Genshin but I get the feeling a lot of the player base get very defensive of their favorite waifu/imouto characters or their precious shipping pairings. They probably feel seeing Klee lewds is akin to seeing someone raping their precious daughter or little sister.

Yeah. I agree to that, even when the artist does a bit of "questionable" fetish that I really don't like I don't be vocal about. Also people forget the old rule since a lot of "questionable" waifu wars/arguments happen a lot.
