Am I just interpreting too much?
Ooor... Does New Jersey (US) look away,
    Richelieu (France) looks terrified,
Bismarck (Germany) just be like: "Eh",
    Queen Liz (UK) is shook,
while Sovetskaya Rossiya (Russia) spanks Kyiv (Ukraine).

    Probably.

Sounds like how it was at the start of it all, but now, reactions have become more animated. They are all looking more and more like they're going to pull Rossiya off and start pounding her in return, but hesitate on the worry that she might enable her 'rigging' and destroy the 'building'.

Also at any moment, Kyiv will get angry and slug Rossiya in the mouth.

Russia isn't aiming for a military conquest. You can tell because the war started with pathetic amounts of forces and no hosing of the ground with heavy rocket artillery.

When the alternatives get creative enough to include "gym mats helped us hold Kyiv", while everyone knows Russia is heavy on rocket artillery... I smell a plot.

Ah, yes, it was all a brilliant Russian plot to look like a complete and total bunch of incompetent morons while running their tanks out of gas ON PURPOSE, and getting some of their newest and best hardware stolen by farmers with John Deere tractors ON PURPOSE, get some of their most elite troops killed off in unsupported attacks in the rear when they lacked air superiority, have visually confirmed losses of 38% of some of their newer model tanks, T-80s and T-90s, got half a dozen of their generals killed because they couldn't bother to bring encrypted radios with them, let farmers take out tanks and supply convoys with rocket launchers because the Russians forgot to maintain their night-fighting gear so they're completely helpless against some rednecks in a pickup truck following coordinates posted on TikTok to where the Russian convoys are once night falls, and of course, get tens of thousands of their soldiers shallow graves. Plus, commit a genocide for the world to see all to ensure basically the entire world turns against them. ALL ACCORDING TO PLAN! Oh, oh, and they DEFINITELY got one of their last capital ships sunk today as a FEINT against... um... the bottom of the Black Sea?

The reason that Russia isn't using more heavy rockets is that those rockets don't just appear like magic. It takes an entire heavy truck to move ONE missile. Russia's entire logistics network relies upon the rail system, and it has been known for decades to lack support and logistics units it would desperately need to prosecute a war beyond its own borders, and after being helpfully given 8 years of advance notice the Russian army was coming, Ukraine's military was able to come up with some contingency plans for an invasion that included disconnecting their rail system from Russia's so Russia can't supply its troops by rail.

Also, if Russia could carry all those big heavy missiles by trucks, maybe they would consider instead sending fuel to all those tanks running out of gas and getting towed back to be used by the Ukrainians by farmers on tractors?

In spite of this being a war of choice that Russia took 8 years to prepare for, Russia was demonstrably not prepared for a ground war.

Wrong systems, I'm referring to MLRS systems, not tactical missiles.

I've heard that the Ukrainians are winning so much that for their photos of Ukrainian civilian casualties in body bags, they couldn't find enough in one place to make a point to Western media. Thus, one of the photos showed one of the bagged folks taking a smoke break from having to stand in for a lack of casualties.

Also you're right. The old Red Army had better goddamned logistics managers than this... and would never have started the attack with just 60,000 troops, pah. It's a pathetic showing compared to the last time Russia had to respond to NATO getting too close for comfort ("You put Pershing missiles in Turkey? Cuba it is then! Oh, you're going to withdraw your missiles? So will we then, glad you see things our way")

It's probably further signs of Russia's failure to properly maintain their equipment. CNN talked to a former quality control auditor for the US' Defense Contract Management Agency and one image of Russian equipment coming out of Ukraine really just stuck in his mind. Apparently the photo depicted an abandoned Pantsir, the wheels of the vehicle had crumbled apart just weeks after the start of the conflict. The person commented that if we're seeing this kind of failure, which would only be due to a complete lack of preventative maintenance, on a modern multimillion dollar piece of equipment, then it's obvious that we can expect the same for everything down the line. More so the vehicles they'd need to maintain proper logistics.

Apparently common for dictators though. They tend to prefer buying showy weapons and equipment to parade around, but they don't put effort into the less showy stuff that is essential to keep their military running smoothly.

Oh yeah, it should be a full on fist fight between the two, but Rossiya would be fighting dirty and pull a stiletto to start stabbing Kyiv as she unexpectedly started winning the fist-fight.
