I think this should be tagged "apocalypse", seeing what that beam is doing once it hits the ground.

The umbrella holds her soul, but I assume that as long as one of the two parts of her is intact, the other can regenerate. Kogasa's soul would just have to move to her human body until the umbrella restores itself. Or she could possess another umbrella.

Even so, that beams gotta hurt. A lot. I also like how the umbrella's eye looks like its in excruciating agony, whereas the body looks just shocked.
