Small bombs was spawned from the visual novel series Umineko no Naku Koro ni, where the protagonist suggested that a murder was carried out by the culprit feeding his/her victims "small bombs". The theory was ridiculous enough to stand out by itself, and has been quoted at almost every instance of the game’s discussion, where people blame everything on the small bombs, and sometimes crosses into other fandoms as well.
