Also, don't bother checking out their pixiv. Almost all of their art is censored. Even if it's just a bikini, almost everything in their gallery, like for 5-6 full pages, is censored with a large blur box covering everything below the collarbone, or there's large bold letters saying "FANBOX" plastered onto. The only way to see any appreciable level of skin is to subscribe to their fanbox. It's absolutely ridiculous. It's like EA levels of nickel and dime-ing fuckery.

I get artists need to pay their bills and make sure their art career is financially viable and stable, but when nearly every single art piece in your gallery is censored, especially when there isn't even any nudity or sex in it, that's just beyond greedy.

And excuse me for getting preachy on my high horse for a moment, but it also seems like they're drawing less for the art and passion and creativity and whatever, and more just for the money. Other artists will put out plenty of regular art pieces while also advertising extra bonuses. Sexy continuations, nudes, higher res versions, etc. The really juicy stuff. They don't make every single post on their account a blatant ad. I'm sorry for ranting, but this is just shameful, to put it in a pretentious way.

Don't worry about it. AI generated art came to save us from those uncreative greedy artist that only know how to draw nudes.

EDIT: Did I forget to mention the part where they lucrate using characters from other authors who don't receive a penny for the nude adulterated version of his/her creation? I'm sure I forgot.

This is a huge problem on Pixiv these days and I'm glad someone else takes issue with it. I don't even really bother browsing Pixiv anymore because it's effectively an ad platform now, not an art website.

Like, if you're going to post "bait" that's nothing more than just a cropped or blurred image that says "FANBOX" or "on Patreon" or something, just don't post it at all. Wanting to be paid for your work is fine, but keep it where it belongs and stop cluttering search results with useless non-content. It doesn't make me want to support you, it does the exact opposite.

The worst people, though, are the ones who have the audacity to paywall commissions - literally asking people to pay to see something they've already been paid to draw. There's no reason for that besides pure greed.

Really, all I want is for Pixiv to allow artists to mark works as a preview of paid content, and then allow people to hide them with an option. But this is the same site that paywalls the ability to mute more than one tag or sort by anything but date, so that's certainly never happening. At least on Danbooru you can blacklist paid_reward_available.
