True humans kissing real animals would be more worrying and it happens, but each to their own.

Honestly, I just find it kinda funny that two fandoms who had absolutely nothing to do with each other, who both could be considered one of the more "controversial" fandoms of their respective generations, went to war over an award that could be considered a participation trophy.

IIRC, both fandoms are actually kind of competitive, so hardly surprised this happened. More surprised it didn't happen sooner.

By that same ridiculous logic, live action characters aren't human either, if they do anything that a "real" human couldn't do. Those action stars that servive falling out of moving vehicles or jump across gaps that are unrealistically large for a human to cross? Not human.

I don't even know who you're talking to, no one here was even commenting on the idea of Sonic kissing a human, and we all know about Sonic 06, you nonce. Do you just walk into stores and restaurants and just start raving at any and all present like this, too?

Besides, humans representing fictional characters are totally different from imagined characters representing human people, as in one exists and the other still remains in the fiction realm. Try to sexualize or murder a teen actor representing a fictional character, let's see how it goes. Try to sexualize or murder Thinkerbell, you'll go to jail too... for copyright infringement.

My comment post number is quite low because I don't comment that often. Life isn't black and white, so if people think I'm a dick is only because they are intolerant to those not taking sides with them. I'm not here commenting to side people, I'm only sharing my toughts because it's allowed here and that's what this section is for. There's not need to debate the comment really, but I think is fair to reply when one gets addressed. You may as well score the comment and just move along, I won't get offended. You shouldn't be offended for a neutral view either. This world is in the state it is because almost everyone thinks you only have two choices. When you are not with them, they incorrectly assume you are against them.

You're right on that front. I guess in hindsight, it's just kinda bizarre seeing two communities who share the same crackhouse, getting seriously emotionally invested in something so insignificant. Especially since both are not seen particularly well outside their circles. I guarantee after a few days pass, regardless of who wins, both are going right back to being mocked.

I hope some of the more saner individuals of each community can find some sort of solidarity. Because man, is this shit gonna be easy ammunition to use against both.

People think you're a dick because you go into ongoing discussions and make broad-strokes statements towards no one that half the time have nothing to do with the topic, usually including some thinly veiled insult towards someone or something that wasn't called for, and then act snide and condescending if anyone calls you out on it, with yet more obviously inflammatory language.

Do you think any of the users that have been here as long as you have have forgotten how you used to go out of your way to pick fights with users you didn't like, regardless of if they had even said anything to you, or even if they were part of the discussion in the first place? You have a history of being an ass, and everyone can tell you're not just "sharing your thoughts." You're just looking for excuses to insult people and things you don't like.

It's not about the number of comments you make, it's about the consistency and type of comments. The fact that you've built up a reputation for yourself in spite of infrequent comments speaks to the average tone of those comments and the impression they leave on people.

I don't pick fights against anyone, blindVigil on the other hand does every single time (he sees himself like the new NWSiaCB, hunting everyone to nag/"correct" those who doesn't share his one dimensional way to see life like a self-ploclamed class representative). I state my opinion and that's it, if you don't want me to reply any further then don't ask me to reply back. It's as simple as that.

This is not a discussion forum but a plain comment section. I'm not better than you, but you're not better than me either. You don't like my opinion, move along. Most of the time my comments are self records about whatever is happening and what I think about them happening anyway. I would put them on a blog, but other people don't upload current pictures there. Twitter also is too toxic, like this post comment section that gets bored and looks for anything to be angry at for nothing.
