Well, Touhou is pretty much defined by its fanbase. Each person comes out with their own versions of everything, especially in strange pairings. So long as they draw it beautifully, it ends up here.

Yes, yes, I know, but what I say is that female Wriggle is the character that Zun defined, and no matter how many pics of male Wriggle may appear here, the only answer to Ipswich67's comment is "yes, Wriggle IS a woman, because Zun said so".

I kind of think of it as "Since ZUN confirms nothing, think whatever the hell you want", but on the rare occasion that something is actually canonically certified, you damn sure have to adhere to it, or other Touhou fans will think you just don't know anything.
