No way this is papercraft. If anything it would have to be drawn on something like celluloid for the transparency. More likely the artist just drew Ranko on a photo background then shopped in a picture of a hand (theirs or someone else's).

Judging from the video posts, it isn't papercraft. They're drawings printed onto a clear material, leaving chosen portions transparent in the original image so they don't cover it.
